HTx25K encoder - robust and compact - for use on the application shaft

The HTx25K series of kit encoders are designed for use in demanding environments where space is at a premium and the rotation or angular position of externally mounted components needs to be measured. These rugged, contactless encoders in a Ø25mm metal housing can be tailored to suit the application with a wide range of electronic and mechanical options. Whether as incremental or absolute value encoders, they cover a wide range of applications and, depending on the output electronics, are used, for example, in plant engineering, special-purpose machinery and automated guided vehicles (AGVs).

The HTx25K is the smallest metal encoders in the MEGATRON HTx family. They have a solid aluminium housing, high IP protection and can be precisely aligned to the magnet in the application. Signal processing is digital and based on the latest Hall sensor technology, ensuring reliable magnetic recording of the measured values. The gradient based evaluation ensures high immunity to temperature variations and EMC influences.

In addition to a wide range of standard options, the modular design of the HTx25K encoders allows them to be tailored to the specific requirements of the application. The concept also allows for timely customization (even in small batches) based on a clearly structured pricing model. Typical modifications include customer-specific shaft geometries, customized signal output functions, special cable lengths or customized electrical connection cables.
