Product description: Shear Beam KT703
Precise signals through digital signal conditioning
The KT703 series combines an aluminium measuring body in bending beam design with an integrated digital amplifier. This provides directly usable output signals of 0–10 V or 4–20 mA, allowing users to connect the sensor directly to control systems without an additional amplifier. Thanks to digital signal conditioning, the sensor achieves a theoretical resolution of 14 bit and offers particularly high signal quality.
While the sensor is mounted to a rigid structure using two screws, the force is applied via an M5 threaded hole. This decouples mounting forces from the measurement and enables precise force introduction.
The KT703 is designed for measuring tensile and compressive forces up to 1 kN.
Due to its robust design and precise full-bridge strain gauge circuit, it is suitable for accurate force measurements in joining and assembly processes, as well as for monitoring motion sequences in machines and systems.
Options
- Rated force: 200 N, 500 N or 1 kN
- Output signals: 0–10 V or 4–20 mA
- Force direction: tension or compression
For series production, additional customer-specific adaptations are possible, such as modified hole diameters for mounting and force introduction, pre-assembled cables and connectors, or adjusted measuring ranges.
