The MMS33 linear transducer is used in high vibration applications where a long life, high accuracy displacement sensor with a front guided push rod is required in measurement lengths from 50 to 900 mm.
In the MMS33 series, the mechanical detection of linear motion is achieved by a front guided push rod. To avoid vertical or angular misalignment, a ball joint can be fitted to the push rod. The robust design is particularly suitable for applications with high levels of vibration and is available in IP60 (optional IP65 / IP67) protection and with either connector or cable connection.
To ensure high accuracy and long life, the potentiometric measuring principle is realized with a high-resolution conductive plastic resistance element. As the potentiometric measuring principle provides absolute values and requires no electronic conversion, the position feedback signal is true power on without delay, temperature stable and robust to EMC influences.
