Product description: Conductive Plastic Potentiometer MP20/21

Economical conductive plastic potentiometer for a wide range of applications

The MP20/21 series of conductive plastic potentiometers are designed for applications where an economical and compact sensor with high accuracy and durability is required. With a housing diameter of 22 mm and a depth of only 12 mm, they offer an ideal combination of reliability and space-saving.

The MP20 version has a mechanical rotation angle of 360° without end-stop, while the MP21 version has a mechanical end-stop at 320°. The latter is particularly suitable for manual setpoint specifications.

These potentiometers feature high precision and long life thanks to the use of high quality comolded conductive plastic technology. The radial, gold-plated solder lugs minimize the depth of the housing and allow easy connection with flat connectors (2.8 mm to DIN 46247 Part 3).

Options:

  • Linearity ±1% (optional ±0.5%)
  • Resistance tolerance ±15% (optional ±10%)
  • Total resistance 0.5 kOhm to 100 kOhm
  • Shaft adaptations: Various geometries and lengths, including rear shaft.
  • Centre tap: Enables voltage or current to be tapped at a defined point on the resistor track, e.g. for reference voltages, symmetrical voltage distribution or special circuit designs.
  • Screwdriver slot: For easy adjustment directly on the shaft.
  • Shaft seal: Protection against dust and moisture, ideal for harsh environments.
