Electronic aluminium bar profile for building custom enclosures

The combinable aluminium bar profiles of the STP series are designed for self-assembly of custom aluminium enclosures. In combination with suitable base, side and end plates, enclosures in various dimensions can be realized – from short, compact modules to longer profile housings.

The bar profiles are supplied as standard in 1000 mm lengths and can be cut to the required size. For series production, custom profile lengths below 1500 mm are possible. This makes the STP series suitable for prototypes and small batches, as well as for standardized enclosure concepts.

Two profile types are available: profile K with an external height of 16 mm and profile G with an external height of 18 mm, each with an external width of 16 mm. Both variants are manufactured with a material thickness of 1.2 mm and have internal grooves for accommodating baseplates with a maximum material thickness of 1.6 mm. Profile G additionally features a T-slot for accepting M3 square nuts and M3 screws, e.g. for fastening side panels.

For enclosure construction, matching aluminium side plates with a material thickness of 1.5 mm are available (sizes 89 × 1000 mm, 100 × 250 mm, 250 × 250 mm and 250 × 500 mm). On request, side plates can be cut to customer-specific dimensions (subject to minimum order quantity).

The profiles are available in natural anodized aluminium or optionally black anodized aluminium. The anodized surface provides reliable corrosion protection and a robust, high-quality appearance.
