Profile enclosure kits or side profiles for building Eurocard housings

The electronic aluminium profile enclosures of the EUKAP SP series are available either as complete kit enclosures in Eurocard format or as side profiles in bar length for building your own enclosure. The two standard housings SP42 and SP56 have a profile length of 165 mm and an external width of 103 mm. The external heights are 42 mm (SP42) and 56 mm (SP56).

For custom designs, the side profiles SP42 and SP56 are offered separately. They are available in a standard length of 1000 mm; in addition, custom profile lengths up to 1500 mm are possible. This allows application-specific housings in the Eurocard environment to be realized with a defined profile cross-section.

Groove geometry for baseplates and internal plates
The standard housings use side profiles with several internal grooves. The SP42 provides grooves with widths of 2 × 2.5 mm and 5 × 1.6 mm. The SP56 integrates 15 grooves with a width of 1.8 mm. This groove geometry allows baseplates and other plates with the corresponding material thicknesses to be mounted and ensures defined guidance and positioning inside the enclosure.

The corresponding baseplates are made of aluminium and have dimensions of 165 mm × 89 mm with a material thickness of 1.5 mm. The end plates are also made of aluminium with a thickness of 1.5 mm. Both are supplied together with the appropriate screws (8 pcs. 2.9 × 9.5 / 3.0 × 10.0) as a complete kit.

Profiles, baseplates and end plates are made of aluminium and are natural anodized; on request they are also available in black anodized finish. The anodized surface provides effective corrosion protection and a robust, high-quality appearance.
