Precise measurement of medium tensile and compressive forces

The KM701 series is a compact bending beam load cell designed for forces of up to 1 kN. Its aluminium measuring body operates according to the bending beam principle and is equipped with a full-bridge Wheatstone strain gauge circuit. This proven technology ensures precise and stable measurement results.

A notable feature of this design is the separation of mounting and force introduction: the sensor is attached to a rigid structure with two screws, while force is applied through an M5 threaded hole. This decouples mounting forces from the actual measurement, thereby increasing precision and reliability.

Thanks to its very low non-linearity and high repeatability, the KM701 is ideal for applications requiring reliable, reproducible force measurement. Typical applications include joining and assembly processes in automation, as well as monitoring motion sequences in machines and equipment.

• Rated force: 200 N, 500 N or 1 kN

Accessories: IMA2 DMS force measuring amplifier with analogue output signal (e.g. 0–10 V, 4–20 mA).

For series production, additional customer-specific adaptations are possible, such as pre-assembled cables and connectors, modified hole diameters for mounting or force introduction, and a 6-wire version.
