The MBF displacement transducers are particularly characterized by their slim design with low overall height. The sensor foil is insensitive to external influences. The universal slider can be mechanically flexibly coupled to the application. The electrical connection is convenient thanks to the integrated crimp connector. MBF displacement sensors are available in measuring lengths from 50 mm to 500 mm.
With the MBF series of displacement sensors, everything is optimized for fast, easy and economical integration into the application. This is made visually clear by the slim, minimalist design with an overall height of only 13.6 mm. And it is made possible by the simple but convincing sensor technology: the MBF uses foil potentiometers. By applying mechanical pressure to the foil, a position-dependent, evaluable signal is generated.
The position is determined by the universal slider, which does not require a push rod. In addition, the top film layer protects the resistive track from external influences such as splash water. This means that all electrical functions are contained within the film, providing perfect measurement results even in adverse conditions. In addition, the electrical connection is particularly convenient thanks to the crimp connector.
