The REM13 compact linear transducers are used in applications up to 20 bar operating pressure where a displacement sensor with an external cursor, high durability and accuracy in measurement lengths from 50 to 1000 mm is required.
The REM13 range of displacement sensors uses a magnetic cursor to mechanically detect linear motion. The design prevents the ingress of dirt or dust into the sensor element. This provides IP67 protection for harsh environments. The small tube diameter of only 13 mm and the cursor design make integration space-saving and easy. Versions with cable or connector and cursors with or without ball joint are available. To ensure high accuracy and long life, the potentiometric measuring principle is realized with a high-resolution conductive plastic resistance element. As the potentiometric measuring principle provides absolute values and requires no electronic conversion, the position feedback signal is true power on without delay, temperature stable and robust against EMC influences.
