The EZA25PM offers absolute angle measurement within a measuring range of 40 mechanical shaft revolutions – and counts turns even during a power loss, without a gearbox, battery or reference run. This makes it suitable for tasks that were previously solved using conventional multiturn potentiometers. The battery-free, gearless and contactless design reduces maintenance requirements, wear and the risk of failure. With a diameter of just 25 mm and an installation depth of less than 24 mm, the encoder fits perfectly into compact drive solutions and many other applications.


Drives / Gear Motors
For drive applications, especially with gear boxes, knowing the absolute shaft position after a power interruption is critical. The EZA25PM continuously track both angular position and the number of revolutions—even while the system is powered off—eliminating homing procedures and ensuring immediate operational readiness after restart.
