Product description: Thumb wheel TRY13
Precise thumbwheel for ergonomic single-axis control
The TRY13 thumbwheel is a slim single-axis thumbwheel with minimal width and a shallow installation depth. It can be integrated ideally into compact control panels and joystick grips. With a deflection of 80° (±40° from the center position), spring return, and an actuation force of only 0.7 N, it enables sensitive yet low-fatigue operation—even with frequent or continuous use.
Its non-contact Hall-effect sensor technology provides a proportional, analogue output signal at a 5 V supply voltage. Various output voltage ranges are available: 0 to 5 V, 0.5 to 4.5 V, or 1 to 4 V. Redundant signals for safety-oriented applications are also available as an option. Combined with a mechanical life expectancy of five million movements and an IP67 protection rating for the electronics, the TRY13 delivers stable output signals over a long service life—even in demanding environments with temperatures from -40 °C to +85 °C and increased EMC requirements.
For control concept design, thumbwheels are available in black, grey, red, or blue, optionally also with a lever pin for additional mechanical coupling. The TRY13 is supplied including a mounting spring clip and seal, so secure mechanical fixing and panel sealing are taken into account from the outset. Thanks to these features, the thumbwheel is particularly suitable for operator consoles, joystick handles, and control panels in mobile and stationary machines where precise single-axis control is required in confined spaces.
