The optical incremental encoders SPM is ideal for applications that require high durability or high-quality feel for manual input
The optical incremental encoders of the series SPM is characterized by its reliability and long lifespan of more than 100 million shaft movements. The sensor with Ø6 mm or Ø6,35 mm (1/4 ") shaft is fixed by means of central thread. Depending on the version, a resolution of 100…1024 pulses per revolution (360°) is available as TTL output signal. Upon request, other resolutions and a line driver output can be realized. The incremental encoder detects angles contactless and has a high-quality metal sleeve bearing. The SPM is available with two torque options. Particularly for a precise manual input of values (as panel encoder), the high torque conveys a high-quality operating feel. For pure angle sensore applications (no manual input), the option NT with low torque is available . A comfortable choice of electrical interfaces as standard, such as soldering / plug-in contacts (TTL), optional connector with lock, complete the profile.
