The MM without spring return / MMR with spring return series is used in applications where space is limited and a miniaturized displacement sensor with a pilot ring, long life, high accuracy and a double guided push rod is required.
The MM / MMR series of linear potentiometers are extremely compact, making them ideal for applications where space is at a premium. This compact sensor is mounted using the pilot ring and the two tapped holes on the front. The mechanical detection of the linear movement of the linear sensor is achieved by a front and rear guided push rod. The displacement sensor can be used either as a probe or with a guided push rod. The potentiometric displacement measurement is carried out using a high resolution conductive plastic resistive element. Thanks to this comolded conductive plastic technology, the compact displacement sensor has a very long life and high accuracy due to its good linearity. As the potentiometric measuring principle provides absolute values and does not require any electronic conversion, the position feedback signal is true power on without delay, temperature stable and robust to EMC influences. Customization of the electrical connection (with connector) or the pushrod (length, thread, flat...) or an increase in the IP protection class are available on request.
