In its KM102, MEGATRON now has force transducers in its range that feature a particularly compact design, outstanding measuring precision and ease of installation. Owing to their minimal dimensions, they are ideal for use in instrument engineering.

The KM102 miniature force transducers work on the principle of the double bending beam and thus ensure accurate measurements. The design is insensitive to excentric application of force and can be exposed to both compression and tension. The force transducers are suitable for measuring from 30 N to 1 KN with output signals 1 mV/V and/or 2 mV/V. They are supplied without integrated amplifiers, but can be combined with MEGATRON external amplifiers and display devices.

The KM102 series stands out thanks to its compact, slim design, only 13 mm in height. This makes it ideal for applications with limited installation space, for instance in instrument technology. The transducer body is made of aluminium, and is rated protection class IP65. Threaded holes for fixing the sensor and/or for defined force application simplify installation. Each sensor delivery includes a measuring protocol and specific rated output data.
